Its other features are Android OS v2.2 (Froyo), 800 Mhz ARM 11 processor, Adreno 200 GPU, Qualcomm MSM7227chipset. Its messaging features are SMS in threaded view, MMS and Email. It has an HTML browser with stereo FM radio with RDS. Yes it has built-in game and A-GPS support. Its java apps are MP4/MP3 player, organizer, document editor, image editor, google search, maps, gmail, youtube, calendar, google talk, picasa integration, voice memo/dial and predictive text input. This phone uses a standard Li-Ion battery 1350 mAh that can last up to 640 h in standby mode and 11 h in talk time.

How do you choose a phone? Me, I choose based on my styles, needs and preferences. I don’t buy a certain product just because I wanted to go with the flow of fashion. I make sure I buy it because I like it or I need it. It’s very different you know. However there are instances that wants or likes becomes needs because we like to have it badly, we assume that if we won’t have it then we will have “sleepless nights”. For instance you need a phone, and then you decide which one you’ll purchase. You went to the mobile phone center and started to choose a phone that fits your budget. You found one stylish phone that is beyond your budget. You realized you want it badly so you borrowed money from a friend. That is what you call ‘wants’, that’s not ‘needs’ because it’s beyond necessity. Why should you opt for an expensive one if for instance this LG GT500 Puccini suits your allowance? This phone was released last year for T-Mobile. It has a TFT touchscreen and 256k color display. You can download polyphonic tones, mp3 ringtones, compose songs and listen with speakerphone with Dolby Mobile 2.0. It has Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and USB. Its camera is 5 MP with auto-focus, led-flash and available for geo-tagging. It can be used to record videos as well as its secondary camera with video call camera. You can use it to sms, mms, email, push email messaging.

I received my first phone right before elementary graduation. Actually, it was a gift from my parents for being a good student with zero record in the principal’s office and because I was among the top ten of class 2002. I was lucky to receive a Nokia 3210, back then it was the first popular phones in town. I felt quite proud. When I entered high school I didn’t have to wait for graduation to receive a new phone – my mom freely gave it to me. I took quite sometime for me to acquire my third phone which in fact I had to earn for. Well, I still wanted to purchase a brand new phone since my old one is outdated. Furthermore, it has no-camera, non-available Bluetooth, not suitable for browsing and other entertaining tools like mp3/mp4 players. If it’s a TV, it would be in black & white.

In the future, I would like to purchase Philips X606 with TFT, 256k colors and just about 2.8 inches. It is available for photo call and call recording with 45 MB + 8 GB memory. Its camera is 5 MP – capable for video recording. It is possible to send emails and mms with this phone plus extra browsing. It has radio, games, mp3/mp4, organizer, voice memo and T9.
