T-Mobile has made the Samsung Behold II with Google available to its customers. This is a touch screen that is the newest generation of Google Droid. It has the ability to connect and interface to a wide variety of Google Apps and interfaces.
Samsung has long been a competitor of companies like Apple with their iPhone and this new model shows exactly why. The phone itself is based on Samsung’s long-standing tradition of quality phones, it has very good call quality, (always based upon the network as well), a longer lasting battery than their old Black Jack platform and continual usage of the Windows Mobile operating system.
This phone offers many advantage to most Windows Mobile phones. If you are a frequent Google user, you will know that the Windows Mobile platform sometimes misses out on functionality of programs like GTalk or even Gmail. In Windows Mobile 6.5, there were even reports of Internet Explorer mysteriously blocking text on the Gmail website. With this phone, you can rest assured, you will receive near full functionality of all Google programs.
The Samsung Behold II has many features that were missing from other Samsung phones, including a 5 MP camera that eliminates the less than great cell phone pics that everyone is used to taking. It also features up to 16 GB expandable memory, a media player and visual voice mail where available. This phone retails for $149.99 for new or upgrade-eligible T-Mobile customers.
